Rt. Rev. James Maria Wainaina

 

The Bishop of Muranga, Rt. Rev. James Wainaina, together with all the heads of department at the Catholic Diocese of Muranga Secretariat, visited the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) – General Secretariat on Monday, 27th Jan, 2014.

The team came to the KCCB- General Secretariat to familiarise themselves with its operations with the intention of learning from its best practices. The team was received at the Secretariat by the General Secretary Rev. Fr. Vincent Wambugu accompanied by the National Executive Secretaries (NESs) of Commissions and Directors of National Offices. The team was taken through the work of the Secretariat and the commissions by the General Secretary and the NESs and Directors .

Speaking during the visit, Bishop Wainaina commended the staff of the KCCB-General Secretariat, saying that the Secretariat had made great progress and set an example in the AMECEA region. “This Secretariat is one of the best managed and most professional in the AMECEA region,” said Bishop Wainaina. “My team and I are proud of your work and appreciate the warm reception you have accorded us today.”

The team from Muranga later joined the members of staff of the Secretariat for lunch.
